LDF10: Tables and Chairs

21st September 2010
I managed to get myself down to one of my favourite stores in London, Few and Far to have a sneak peek at all of the exciting things happening down there. In Partnership with Priscilla Carluccio, the Crafts Council presents ‘Tables & Chairs: new contemporary voices in wood’. An exhibition showcasing some of the best furniture makers at various stages in their career. From graduates to the more established they clearly are all a very talented bunch. Demonstrating a range of craft skills, both new and old this exhibition really does promote diversity of UK furniture.

Here is a selection of my favourites.

Savannah Rocker III (2010) by Jolyon Yates.

Twist 1 & 2 (2010) by Euan Lind.

Five (2008) by Anna Bullus.

Re-plied Step Table and Bench (2009) by Deborah Elsaesser.

‘Tables and Chairs’ is take place during London Design Festival.
