LDF10: Rivoluzione

22nd September 2010
If you happen to wonder around the Brompton District during the London Design Festival then do pass by the Bibendium courtyard. It will be hard not to miss the pretty display of striking suspension lights from Murano glass company, Mediterraneo with their installation called ‘Rivoluzione’.

These remarkable lights made out of Murano glass and silicone rubber portray the company’s fascination with the wheel, its shape, movement and purpose. These light fittings, so simple yet so beautiful work really well with the iconic history of the Michelin House. Its definitely a case of contemporary lighting using traditional craftsmanship which is what Mediterraneo does best.

Enjoy the walk, the view and perhaps a well deserved coffee.
