Vintage Seeker

During my Paris break I headed down to Vanves a small and friendly flea market tucked away in the corner of the city. This ‘Marché aux puces’  which dates from the 1920s is still largely the haunt of locals. The atmosphere was intimate with around 200 traders and prices were reasonable. I loved the fact that traders were relaxing amongst themselves and playing cards. All in all it was a perfect morning outing, I love going to unique interesting markets you get such a buzz and inspiration from these places that they really are one of the kind….. They had some great fabrics, laces and gorgeous pins and buttons, so many interesting pieces that I hope my photos can give you a better recap, enjoy…

    I have been going to Vanves for years. It ismy absolute favourite in Paris!
