Orla Kiely For Harlequin

2nd October 2012
‘As long as I remember I have always loved pattern’

Last week I was very lucky to attend a talk by Orla Kiely at the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour. There she presented her latest collaboration with Harlequin, showcasing her new striking collection of bold and beautiful wallpapers.

Orla has always shown her love for retro design being influenced by the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Her transition from fashion to interiors has always been fairly easy for her. Orla Kiely’s new collection comprises of fourteen existing and recognisable designs which look fantastic.

What Orla Kiely loves most is working to challenges and I couldn’t agree more. Lovely designs, lovely lady.

the new collection is great – in particular the scale she uses in the large stem print

You captured some of the colorful highlights from Tent–one of my favorite shows during LDF. I was so fortunate to be part of the BlogTour London group, may just have to return next fall on my own!
