Pretty Pastels With Laura Fulmine

17th May 2013
Here are some pretty pastel images styled by the talented Laura Fulmine. These interiors are what I need on this miserable Friday morning, I am beginning to doubt that the Spring season actually exists at all! On a different note I love it how these spaces really work. That dining area is a great example how you can really mix pastel colours with dark bold pops of colour, in this case black. A daring approach for some but it works! I also do love how the door, window frames and dado rails are also coloured in pretty pastels not to mention the fireplace.

You know me. I’m a sucker for pastels 😉

I've seen a few posts today where black has played a part. I think picture 1 works. The black creates a strong focal point without overpowering the overall softness of the room. Pastels are great but sometimes can appear a bit wishy washy and introducing a strong highlight colour can bring a look together.
