I’m loving Sofa.com’s fabric collaboration as part of the Design Lab initiative, with emerging British design house, Occipinti. Design Lab supports home-grown design talent and champions some of the best up-and-coming UK designers, with previous partners including St. Jude’s, Thornback & Peel and Cameron Short.

Sofa.com discovered Occipinti’s work at Tent London in September 2013 when Founder Ashley McDow exhibited her inaugural collection after graduating from Leeds College of Art & Design in 2008 with a BA Hons in Surface Pattern Design. Having gained valuable experience working on projects for high end fashion and interiors brands including Alexander McQueen, Harlequin and Christian Fishbacher, Ashley took the decision to set up on her own, establishing Occipinti in July 2013.

Occipinti’s exclusive fabric design for sofa.com is based on an original hand-painted floral pattern realised in rich, vibrant colours with the distinct Occipinti house style. Wisteria  is available to upholster on any sofa.com sofa, armchair, bed or blanket box offering a range of sophisticated, contemporary design options for the home.
