Introducing Gingerlily & The Benefits of Silk Linens

23rd April 2015

In trying to lead a healthy lifestyle, there are many factors to try and pay attention to, like clean eating and exercising. Apparently it’s also what we sleep in that can play a beneficial role.

Lately, I have been reading about the benefits of silk linens. Silk is naturally hypoallergenic so it is not only the ultimate in luxury but also a healthy alternative to traditional bedding. It helps regulate body temperature and is renowned for making skin and hair healthier.

Obviously after reading this I’m really tempted to give it a go. I absolutely love Gingerlily and really want to try their products. They are after all the leading specialists in silk bedding of the finest quality. They offer such an amazing range of beautiful bedding & bed linen which includes silk filled duvets, pillows and mattress toppers; silk bed linen, bed-spreads and blankets; and silk throws and cushions. They really do have so many pretty colours and patterns to choose from.

I’m also really tempted to try out their gorgeous silk pajamas – they look totally fabulous!

I’m really looking forward to trying them out – its always fun to try new things. Especially now with the new season – perfect timing I say. Have any of you tried silk linens? Let me know what you think – would love to know.

This post is in collaboration with Gingerlily.

Sleeping in silk linens must be a heavenly experience. It’s on my shopping list already…
I own a few pairs of silk pajamas and i must say they feel absolutely gorgeous on the skin. As the fabric is so delicate it does tear after lots of use and washing, though it never loses its lovely sheen and softness. I tend to wash it with a normal detergent because I’ve realised that the detergent for delicates gives silk a funny, almost ‘raw fibre’ kind of smell.
Does anyone else have the same experience?
