Oscars 2013 Best Dressed
Did you watch the Oscars last night? Bit too late for me so have been having a good old read this morning. I love checking out what the stars have been wearing but was a little disappointed with the dresses, not many stood out for me this year, lets say only a handful. Fashion is always fun and it really crosses over to the interior world and I find is a great source for inspiration. I thought I would share my favourite top three looks from last night…
Amy Adams looked like a princess as she wore a beautiful powder blue Oscar de la Renta fairytale gown. I love the colour and the texture of this dress.
There was a big metallic trend this year on the red carpet and I though Naomi Watts pulled it off magnificently. Her Silver Armani Prive dress was rock on! Simple but with a cool detailed front, it oozed elegance.
I loved Jennifer Aniston’s Ballgown-style red strapless Valentino dress. Simple yet a bold statement. It was great to seem some colour amongst the creams and metallics of the night.
Which dress was your favourite of the night?

Naomi Watts was the standout for me. She got everything right. Dress, hair and makeup. I loved Amy Adams' dress but the colour washed her out and I didn't like her hair. Jen Aniston was a bit too safe and boring for me although at least it was a colour. Jane Fonda's stood out for colour and suited her. I also thought Sally Field looked lovely. Nicole Kidman's was interesting but she still looks too botoxed. Too many pale wishy washy dresses this year unfortunately.
