Recipe Of The Week: Baked Strawberry Oatmeal

With the mornings getting colder, my sister and I came up with the most delicious warming baked oatmeal. It is another way to make oats in the morning more exciting and it is delicious. You can use any fruit you like. We chose strawberries. It really is very easy to make.

Ingredients

1/2 a cup of rolled oats
1/2 a cup ofchopped strawberries
1 tablespoon of cashew butter
1-2 tablespoons of raw honey or maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like it)
1 cup of almond milk

Optional Toppings

Cacao nibs
Sliced banana

Healthy recipe Of The Week: Baked Strawberry Oatmeal

Pre heat your oven to 18oC. In a bowl mix the oats with the cashew butter, sweetener, milk and strawberries, then pour into your baking dish and place in the oven for 20 minutes until the top goes a golden brown. Fell free to add any fruit of your choice. Serve with coyo coconut yoghurt and enjoy!
