I really do adore Liberty’s new collection of fabrics for Spring/Summer 2011 which is inspired by the wonderful world of children’s illustration. Just adorable and perfect for this time of year! There are fifty new designs featured in the collection and what’s even more special is that the Liberty Art Fabrics Design Studio has collaborated with a selection of children’s book illustrators, up and coming young talent such as Sally Haysom and graduates from Falmouth College of Art and Design and award winning illustrators including Lauren Child, David McKee, Brian Wildsmith, Jane Ray, Emma Chichester Clark and Quentin Blake to name a few. The result is fresh, playful and completely enchanting with a colour palette that ranges from beautiful soft delicate shades to the deepest darkest hues of the fairy tale forest.
