Banana Chocolate Ice Cream
I’ve recently made it a mission to cut out sugar in my diet. I want to say goodbye to the white stuff as I keep reading just how bad it is for you, but I still want to enjoy desserts. Recently my sister Dania came up with a delicious ice cream recipe which is dairy and Sugar free but tastes delicious. Here she is sharing with us one of my favourite treats.
‘Hi everyone – great to be back here. This is such an easy and quick recipe to make and the texture is that of real ice cream but not as heavy as it is dairy free. it really does taste good and a great summer treat’.
4 frozen bananas
1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder
a handful of chopped hazelnuts and coconut flakes to sprinkle on top
Remove the bananas from their skins, cut them into pieces and put in the freezer for 6 hours. Place the frozen banana pieces in the food processor together with the raw cacao and blend till you get a creamy delicious ice cream. Serve with chopped hazelnuts and coconut flakes and enjoy!
