You’ve got a weekend getaway planned but you want to do it in style, right? I always find shoes to be the issue. When travelling I love nothing more than going for endless walks around the city, so super high heels are most definitely out of the question. It’s all about comfort but still trying to look stylish. unleashing the inner tomboy, I’m a sucker for black (masculine looking) ankle boots with a touch of a heel – a good one or two inches are just perfect!

With the current ‘boyfriend’ trend going trés strong, finding the right boots has never been easier, especially when I found myself searching for them on Lyst. Basically a website full of your favourite brands/shops all in one place! Total shopping heaven I say! Here I’m wearing these Ash suede cowboy boots; classic black in a classic style which were ideal for wandering around the city streets and admiring the sights. They remind me of the classic Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ boots but at a fraction of the price. They also have such pretty intricate details at the front and sides which make them quite unique.
